1. About the Client  

We worked with a large travel business that handled a huge number of complex bookings every day. With that level of activity, there was a lot of valuable information in their systems, but it wasn’t easy for them to get a meaningful view of it all.

Booking systems are, by nature, very transactional. The data tends to live in lots of little clusters, and you have to stitch it all together before you can learn anything useful. In many companies, reporting on this kind of data ends up being slow, manual, and fragile.

And when you want to combine that booking data with other parts of the business, like website behaviour, or call centre information, the picture becomes even harder to piece together.
