Turning AI Understanding into Action: Inside Traverse Automation’s Workshops
Every organisation today is trying to make sense of AI. From code generation to customer engagement, the pace of change is relentless, and for many teams it’s hard to know where to start.
That’s why Traverse Automation has been running a growing series of hands-on AI workshops, helping CTOs and Lead Developers and, increasingly, their wider teams across support, customer service, and other areas of the business understand what these new AI tools can actually do for them. From Claude Code and Copilot Studio to ChatGPT Agents, we help teams turn these tools into practical, productive results. These workshops have become the foundation of much of our consultancy work, designed to help teams make sense of it all, focus on real business challenges, and build confidence in using AI where it truly adds value.
Helping Developers Navigate the New Era of AI
Our work began with technical leaders, those working directly in software development who were facing a growing problem. Too many AI tools, not enough clarity. In our workshops for CTOs, lead developers and teams, we dive deep into how to get the most out of platforms like Claude Code, teaching practical use cases such as bug investigation, feature development, documenting codebases, generating unit and regression tests, identifying security issues, and managing supplier integrations.
As teams become more fluent, they leave with a clear understanding of how to leverage AI to accelerate their day-to-day work. We then show them how to take the next step, automating repetitive coding tasks with Claude Code Agents that can produce code, request reviews, and integrate seamlessly into their workflows. These sessions aren’t about theory, they’re about practical and proven outcomes. Development teams leave with working prototypes, a clear framework for experimentation, and a full write-up of the workshop, including a roadmap to safely scale AI across their projects.
Workshops That Reach Beyond the Tech Teams
As success stories have spread, our workshops have naturally expanded beyond engineering. Increasingly, we’re being invited to run sessions with Marketing and Sales departments, exploring how AI can eliminate repetitive work and uncover new opportunities for creativity and growth.
These discussions often focus on:
Identifying daily challenges that are ripe for automation
Using AI agent to analyse customer journeys and discover where potential buyers drop off
Enriching lead data with context such as company size, key contacts, and suggested call openers
We also demonstrate the power of Teams-integrated Knowledge Agents, smart assistants that make internal knowledge instantly searchable through Microsoft Teams chat. By connecting these agents to existing documentation, we help teams find answers faster and work more effectively.
Helping Teams Make AI Work for Them
Across industries, we’re seeing recurring themes in how people are trying and often struggling to apply AI effectively.
“It’s not doing what we want consistently,” or “It’s not finding the issue with our bugs.”
In our workshops, we show that these issues are rarely about the AI itself, they’re about context. Through strategic context engineering, we help teams provide their agents with the right data, documents, and history at the right moments, so they can deliver more relevant and accurate results.
We also focus on mindset, AI isn’t a magic fix, but it is a transformative new tool. Learning how and when to use it is critical, and our sessions are designed to make that learning practical and confidence building.
Finally, we help organisations avoid “tool fatigue.” The AI landscape shifts fast, and it’s easy to lose focus. We test the latest tools, so our clients don’t have to. Sharing best practices and helping them build on a strong foundation rather than starting from scratch every few months.
Results in Action
The impact of our approach is already visible. For one of our long-standing customers in the travel technology sector, agents built with our guidance now analyse support tickets and automatically generate bug reports, dramatically reducing investigation time. Development teams who apply our workshop insights report faster turnaround, better documentation, and greater flexibility in how they deploy AI within their daily operations.
And by extending these same principles into sales and marketing functions, we’re helping businesses discover efficiencies far beyond the development floor.
The Road Ahead
As AI continues to evolve, Traverse Automation’s workshops will remain focused on helping teams stay ahead, with a clear emphasis on real, actionable outcomes rather than experimentation for its own sake.
The next wave of our sessions will explore advanced topics like multi-agent collaboration (where AI systems review and challenge each other’s work), and visual reasoning, enabling models to interpret complex data from images and grids, a capability that’s still in its early stages across the industry.
But whatever comes next, our mission stays the same, to help teams move from AI-hype to practical impact. Because automation doesn’t begin with technology, it begins with understanding the people and processes that make a business work.
